These terms govern your use of Crane Inks (World Decor Limited, company number 13661342, registered office: 70 High Street, Huntingdon, England, PE29 3DJ). By placing an order with us you agree to these terms. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law.
## 1. About us
Crane Inks is a trading name of World Decor Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 13661342). Our registered office is at 70 High Street, Huntingdon, England, PE29 3DJ.
## 2. Our products — non-OEM compatible inks
Crane Inks supplies compatible (non-OEM) ink cartridges and bottles. Our products are independently manufactured to function in the printer models listed on each product page. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Canon, Epson, HP, Roland, Mimaki, Mutoh, or any other original equipment manufacturer. References to OEM brand or model names are used solely to indicate compatibility under nominative fair use.
By placing an order you confirm that you understand you are purchasing a third-party compatible consumable rather than a manufacturer-branded product, and that you have checked the compatibility list for your specific printer model.
## 3. Orders and acceptance
All orders placed through our website are an offer to purchase. We accept your order when we send you a dispatch confirmation email; at that point a binding contract is formed. We may decline an order at our discretion (for example if stock is unavailable, pricing was incorrect, or we cannot ship to your address) and will refund any payment in full.
## 4. Pricing and payment
- Prices are shown in GBP and include UK VAT where applicable.
- Shipping is calculated at checkout.
- Payment is taken in full at the time of order via the payment methods displayed at checkout.
- If a pricing error is identified before dispatch we will contact you with the corrected price; you may proceed or cancel for a full refund.
## 5. Shipping
We ship to mainland UK addresses. Orders placed before 1pm on a working day are dispatched the same day. Standard delivery is **1–2 working days** via tracked courier. Delivery timeframes are estimates and not guaranteed. Full details are on our Shipping Policy page.
## 6. Returns and refunds
You have **30 days** from the day you receive your order to request a return on unopened items, and full statutory rights for faulty goods. Full details, including how to start a return, are on our Returns Policy / Refund Policy page.
## 7. Compatibility, intended use and customer responsibility
Each product page lists the printer models the cartridge has been designed and tested to work in. It is the customer's responsibility to confirm that the product matches their printer model and firmware before installation. We strongly recommend that customers:
- Check the compatibility list on the product page before ordering.
- Follow the manufacturer's printer instructions for installing third-party cartridges.
- Shake cartridges gently before use and store them upright, away from direct sunlight, between 5°C and 30°C.
- Run a nozzle check and standard cleaning cycle after installation.
## 8. Product warranty and liability
We warrant that our ink will be of satisfactory quality, fit for its intended purpose (printing in the listed compatible models), and as described, in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If a Crane Inks product is found to be defective, our remedy will be a free replacement or a refund of the price paid for that product, at our option.
**Important — printer damage:** compatible inks are designed to work safely in the listed printer models when installed and used as intended. We cannot, however, control how a product is installed, used, stored, or maintained once it leaves us. To the maximum extent permitted by law, and except in respect of our warranty obligations above, **World Decor Limited accepts no liability for damage caused to a printer, printhead, or any other equipment as a result of using our ink**, including but not limited to damage arising from:
- Use of the product in a printer model not listed as compatible on the product page;
- Improper installation, mixing with other inks, or refilling our cartridges;
- Failure to follow the printer manufacturer's maintenance schedule;
- Use of the product beyond its printed expiry date or after improper storage;
- Pre-existing printer faults, worn printheads, or firmware changes by the OEM.
Some OEM warranties may be affected by the use of third-party consumables. Customers should check their printer warranty terms before installing any compatible ink. **Nothing in this clause excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by English law.** Our total liability for any claim in connection with a product shall not exceed the price paid by the customer for that product.
## 9. Intellectual property
All site content (logos, photography, copy, branding) is owned by or licensed to World Decor Limited and may not be reproduced without written permission. Third-party trade marks (e.g. Canon, Epson, HP) referenced on this site are the property of their respective owners and are used only to describe the printer models our products are compatible with.
## 10. Privacy
We process your personal data in line with our Privacy Policy and the UK GDPR.
## 11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force at the time you place an order is the version that applies to that order.
## 12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. This does not affect any mandatory consumer rights you have in your country of residence.
