Crane Inks exists for printers who need dependable wide-format and desktop ink without paying OEM prices. We are a UK supplier with a simple promise: consistent colour, honest information, and a real human at the other end of the email.
Why Crane Inks exists
Compatible ink has a reputation problem, and most of it is earned. Cheap bottles, bleached pigments, mislabelled cyans — the bottom end of the market makes professional printers nervous, and rightly so.
We started Crane Inks because the alternative shouldn't be paying triple to a printer manufacturer for ink we know is being made by third parties anyway. There is a respectable middle: ink produced to a verifiable standard, sold honestly, supplied from the UK, and priced to give print rooms back some margin.
That middle is what we sell. Every product page tells you what printer the ink is for and which OEM cartridge it replaces. Every batch is checked before it ships. Every customer email goes to someone whose job is to actually solve the problem.

We work with manufacturers who supply commercial photo labs and signage producers. Their tolerances are what we inherit.

Every incoming batch is sampled and read against reference targets. Out-of-spec batches do not reach customers.
